Galen Dillewyn

Vice President – Business Development

Galen Dillewyn joined NUTECH in 2009. Currently he serves as Vice President, Business Development for the Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Louisiana markets. Mr. Dillewyn graduated from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. His 18 years of industry experience has included:

  • Growing and developing NUTECH’s client base as a technical liaison between the end user and the technical group.
  • 9 years with Schlumberger, working as a field engineer, operations manager, and in house technical support for several super majors.

Mr. Dillewyn’s affiliations include Houston Geological Society, SPE, and SPWLA.

Doug Willits

Area Account Manager -  Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth/OKC

Doug Willits joined NUTECH in 2018. Mr. Willits graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. His industry experience has included:

  • From 2009 to 2011, Doug was a Reservoir Engineer at Chesapeake Energy Corporation. While with Chesapeake, he spent eighteen months in the field. His responsibilities involved the planning and supervision of a multitude of field operations. Doug’s final six months with Chesapeake were spent in the office where he worked in the reservoir department, providing reserve and economic evaluations and various reservoir and operations analyses.
  • Mr. Willits then joined Pinnacle Energy Services, LLC as a Consulting Engineer from 2011 to 2016. Doug’s primary role was to provide reserve and economic evaluations, as well as, various reservoir and operations analysis. He also testified in multiple hearings each week as an expert witness at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission while at Pinnacle.

Mr. Willits is affiliated with both the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE).

Glenn Sather

Regional Manager - Canada/Denver

Glenn Sather is currently the Regional Account Manager for Canada and Denver for NUTECH. At NUTECH, Glenn is responsible for growing and developing NUTECH's client base as a technical liaison between the end user and the technical group. NUTECH has business units specializing in Petrophysics, Geo-Mechanics, Completion Design & Optimization, Reservoir Modeling, Core Analysis, and Consulting. 

Following his field experience as a Wireline Engineer and operations management in Canada and Internationally in Mexico, Yemen, and Bangladesh he took a Technical Sales Position with Weatherford in 2008.

Glenn joined Haliburton in 2011 and started his current role with NUTECH in 2012.

Bobby Gibson

Area Account Manager - Midland, TX

Bobby Gibson joined NUTECH in 2000. He is currently responsible for developing and maintaining clients throughout West Texas. Mr. Gibson has also worked as Vice President of Domestic Sales and as Manager of NuTech’s Data Center.

Mr. Gibson graduated from Midwestern University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He has more than 35 years of experience in the petrophysical engineering profession working with Schlumberger, Mesa Petroleum and Sonat. Mr. Gibson’s extensive background involves high profile exploratory well evaluations, field studies, pore pressure evaluations, and log analysis software training.

Mr. Gibson is affiliated with both the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts (SPWLA) and the Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Charles Wright

Area Account Manager - Houston, TX

Charles Wright joined NUTECH in 2018. Currently he serves as Account Manager for the Houston and West Texas markets.  Charles is responsible for growing and developing NUTECH's client base as a technical liaison between the end user and the technical group. Mr. Wright graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  During Mr. Wright's 15 year career, he has held several positions:

  • 9 years as General Field Engineer-wireline; including 3 years in research and development with Weatherford.
  • 6 years in Account Management including in-house technical advisor for a large independent with Weatherford.

Mr Wright is affiliated with the the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts (SPWLA) and is a college recruiting liason for Texas A&M University.
