Bill Scanlan joined NuTech Energy Alliance in 2005.  Currently he is responsible for further developing and maintaining Houston and Western U.S. markets.

Mr. Scanlan graduated from the University of Kansas in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  His industry experience has come as:

• West Coast Area Manager for Sales and Operations with Reeves Wireline Services, developing the market to implement two new regional districts in Bakersfield, CA and Anchorage, AK; allowing significant expansion for the Midcontinent based company.
• Senior Technical Sales Engineer with Schlumberger Well Services responsible for broad based wireline, open-hole, completion, and testing services.  Mr. Scanlan also championed the introduction of new wireline standards and technology such as electromagnetic propagation and nuclear magnetic resonance tools and capabilities.
•  VP of Sales and Marketing with EVP Webbasis Technologies, responsible for securing funding for continued growth of the entrepreneurial web based company.
  

Mr. Scanlan is affiliated with AAPG, SPE, SPWLA, and CWLS.  Along with being published several times, he is also past President of the San Joaquin Geological Society.
