Fracture Intensity Vision identifies natural fractures without the expense and time of additional logging tools.
FIV is a petrophysical evaluation which uses triple combo data to identify fractures in the wellbore and the relative frequency of those fractures in the well.
The data is then used to help identify secondary porosity and permeability generated from the fractures in the formation being evaluated.
