Allen Howard

President, Chief Executive Officer

Allen Howard co-founded NuTech Energy Alliance in 1998 and has since served as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Through Mr. Howard’s leadership, NuTech Energy has grown to include 4 offices, 80 employees, and become the recognized industry leader in formation evaluation and bypassed pay identification.

Prior to founding NuTech Energy Alliance, Mr. Howard served as the Worldwide Sales and Marketing Manager with Numar Corporation. Within seven years, he played an integral role in guiding Numar’s development from a startup company through full product development, commercialization, a successful IPO, and ultimately a successful sell to Halliburton. Before joining Numar, Mr. Howard began his 30 years of industry experience with Schlumberger, leaving as an Operations Manager.

Mr. Howard is a 1978 graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has also attended the University of Texas’ Master of Business Administration program and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Well Log Analysts (SPWLA) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Britt Hill

Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Hill is a 1980 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering. His thirty years of oil and gas industry experience has included the following positions:

• Senior Technical Advisor for Halliburton where he was responsible for developing and maintaining petrophysical analysis for fracture stimulation design.
• Numar Product Champion responsible for all aspects related to Magnetic Resonance Logging in the Midcontinent including sales and analysis.
• District Manager with Halliburton responsible for managing logging operations in Pauls Valley, OK, Beaumont, TX, Liberty, TX, and Laurel, MS.
• Director of Training for Gearhart (GO Wireline) responsible for training domestic and international logging engineers.
• Region Engineer for Gearhart responsible for oversight of technical operations related to open-hole logging in the Eastern US (Midcontinent and Northeast US).

Mr. Hill holds two patents related to the oil and gas industry as well having developed several innovative processes related to petrophysics. Mr. Hill is also affiliated with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Oklahoma City Geologic Society (OCGS), and American Petroleum Institute (API).

Steven Roth

Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer

Steven Roth joined NuTech Energy Alliance in 2000. He is currently responsible for day to day operations of NuTech’s three Business Units; as well as overseeing both domestic and international sales activity. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Roth served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, as the International Business Development Manager and as a Senior Account Manager with NuTech.

Mr. Roth graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, and later earned his Master of Science degree in Geology from Kansas State University. With more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he has also worked as:

• Senior Development Geologist for Stocker Resources, Inc. where his duties included developing a 3D EarthVision model, identifying new well locations for the drilling program, and assisted in designing the logging program for all wells.
• Senior Exploration Geologist with ARCO International Oil and Gas responsible for all geologic duties pertaining to two lease blocks offshore northern Gabon, including: basin analysis, prospect generation, drilling location selection, and designing the geologic well plan.
• Development Geologist with THUMS Long Beach Co. (ARCO) responsible for geologic duties pertaining to the Long Beach Unit, offshore Wilmington Field, which included assisting with the interpretation of a 3D seismic data set.

Mr. Roth is also affiliated with the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).

Guy Hunter

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hunter graduated from the University of Texas in 1969 and received a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston in 1977. Mr. Hunter is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas since 1978. Mr. Hunter’s 36 years of business experience has included:

• Financial management (equity raise, debt placement and ratings, accounting and due diligence) of various energy related entities during development, construction and operating phases
• Chief accounting and information systems officer of energy related business from start-up through public offering and eventual sale to another public entity
• Managed CPA and consulting practices whose primary emphasis was on financial management and modeling, information systems development and accounting services for oil and gas, specialty manufacturing, technology and other energy related entities
• Audit Manager for Price Waterhouse

Guy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the Board of Directors of SIRE, a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding for people with disabilities.

Allen D. Howard

Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer

Allen D. Howard II joined NuTech in 2004. He is currently responsible for global sales and marketing. Mr. Howard is a graduate from Texas Tech University with a B.S in Chemical Engineering and Texas A&M University-Mays School of Business with a MBA. Prior to overseeing domestic and international sales efforts, Mr. Howard has held the following positions:

• Vice President, NuTech International responsible for development and growth of all international markets.
• NuTech International Business Development Manager responsible for the day to day maintenance of international clients. Mr. Howard handled technical product delivery and assisted in presentations throughout South America, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan.
• NuTech Senior Account Manager responsible for developing the Houston and Midland market to sustain a new sales office.
• NuTech Petrophysicist focusing on data interpretation in the Permian Basin and South American markets.
• Schlumberger open and closed-hole engineer working the Permian Basin and Shelf/Deepwater GOM.

Mr. Howard has successfully closed several of NuTech’s largest alliance contracts, as well as developed contracts internationally with Mexico,  Peru, Argentina, Colombia and U.K.
