Job Title: Associate Engineer
Pay: Based on Experience
Job Description:
- Run fracturing model, document results.
- Run production model,
document results.
- Match fracturing treatment estimates to recorded
data by changing key inputs, calibrating assumptions.
- Analyze
injection test profiles and determine closure stress.
- Recommend
appropriate fracturing fluids, analyze rheological data.
- Perform
pressure calculations, tubing movement runs.
- Recommend optimal
treatment designs.
- Price fracturing treatments, generating cost /
treatment comparisons.
- Document and communicate findings to customer.
- Provide customer tips on how to improve on-site QA/QC and execution.
- Design limited entry techniques to ensure fracture diversion. Technical
Skills:
- Experience with Fracturing models FracproPT, MFrac, etc.
- Experience with minifrac analysis, G-function profiling and modified
Mayerhofer techniques.
- Familiarity with type curve analysis and
production history matching techniques.
- Good communication skills.
- Some operational experience.
- Familiarity with pricing fracturing
treatments, understanding service company price books, equipment mix.
- Familiarity with variety of stimulation techniques.
- Ability to work in
a team environment.
- Extensive database and spreadsheet experience.
- 2-10 years oil and gas operational experience.
